Adding a new course and creating a map is really simple with Always Greener. The website will guide you through the process step by step using the Always Greener course builder.

A quick video of mapping a course can be viewed on our youtube channel.

A few of the comments I have received about the easy mapping process.

1. Mapping went smoothly.
2. The mapping routine on your site is elegant, and saves your data frequently.
3. It looks very good and making a new course is kids play!
4. Your software is fantastic. It’s very simple to add a course.
5. I have to say, the interface is great. I can’t wait to get out there and try it out.

Editing Existing Holes

Can I go back in to a course map that I created and modify it without having to create a new map?

Once logged in as the user that created the map you should see a small edit link under the list of the holes and yardages.

If the course was made by the “Guest” user then it will be available for all to edit. If you would like to preserve your map then just create the map under you own user account.  The only person who will be allowed to edit it will be you.

Windows Mobile 6.5 Golf GPS

Always Greener is a free Windows Mobile client that works on Windows 6.1 (and newer) devices.

The software provides accurate yardages to the front, back and more importantly the center of the green.

The thing that sets Always Greener apart from the other golf yardage applications is the map integration. You can access Google maps through the client and simply drag a marker on the screen to get yardages to any point.

How accurate is Always Greener golf gps?

The majority of Windows Mobile devices on the market will be more than accurate enough for the average golfer.

When you download Always Greener I would expect that the vast majority of you will be hidden away in the murky depths of your home office where picking up a GPS lock is fairly unlikely.

You could hang out the window to try and get a signal but in built up or residental areas you are unlikely to obtain a decent line of sight to 4 or more satellites and your position will be inaccurate.

The good news is the golf course is the perfect place to pick up a gps signal. Out in the open with a clear line of sight to multiple satellites you can expext to receive a reading that is accurate to within 10 feet.

With Always Greener you can quickly flip to the map view and see where the locator is placing you on the course. In our experience once you are receiving a gps rating of Good, Excellent or Ideal then you can be confident that the software is giving you good advice.
